Mehendi + Sangeet
The Sanskrit word sangeet roughly translates to "sung together". Traditionally, this ceremony was meant for the female guests on both sides of the family to come together for a night of song. These days, the sangeet is open to all guests and is a chance for everyone to let their hair down, sing, dance and celebrate. Bonus points if you prepare a dance for the bride and groom!

Baarat + Wedding
This tradition signifies the groom traveling to the bride's home, accompanied by his family. For all you groomsmen, this is your chance to dance like nobody's watching (even though everybody's watching). The bride and groom will then marry at sunset on a jetty by the lagoon, overlooking a mosque, a stupa and a church.
